All of us hear talk about the docks concerning zincs, but what do they really do? How do they work?
Any time you've got two totally different metals which can be bodily or electrically linked and immersed in seawater, they produce electrical current. The way we stop galvanic corrosion is to add a bit of metal called a sacrificial anode, and most often it's zinc. The truth is, most of us seek advice from sacrificial anodes merely as zincs. Yacht Props and Rudders
